Booking sites or booking direct?
Compare on search sites, then check the direct price.
Search and booking sites are great for comparing prices. Booking directly with the airline or hotel can make changes, refunds and problems easier to handle.
Things to compare
- The total price, with taxes and all fees
- Cancellation and change rules
- Who you call if something goes wrong
- Loyalty points or perks you'd get booking direct
Watch out for
- Lookalike sites and ads that copy official names
- Non-refundable "deals" when your plans might change
- Prices that grow at checkout
General educational information. Prices and rules change; check with the provider. Dime Pockets isn't paid by any airline, hotel, booking site or insurer.
